Southern Maryland Soccer and Futsal Academy

Our mission is to develop and to have fun playing and learning the many skills and tactics that Futsal develops.

* It is very essential to master the technical skills that futsal develops like controlling, passing, shooting all these skills should be learned with both legs. For example a player playing in reduced space and with the defender very close, players can not lose time in switching the ball to the other foot.

* Playing very close to their opponents and in small areas accustoms the players to think and make decisions quicky.

* The use of five players on the smaller playing area ensures that the players are participating more, and it accelerates their practice of technique.

* Playing in reduced space develops creativity. .

* The playing in small areas and in close proximity of opponents causes the players to learn to move without the ball in order to create space for themselves and there teammates..
